Testimonies

At our church weekend in October 2009 we were asked by Rev. Graham Horsley to write out Christian Journey in up to 50 words...

"I went to church as a child but was not a Christian until my late teens, Jesue spoke to me during a youth service WOW my whole life was transformed. As a result I became a Christian and Jesus has walked with me through all my joys and sorrows."

"I went to Sunday School regularly, enjoyed being in the choir didn't go to church during my teens but did after getting married.

Always felt something was missing and never felt satisfied reaching goals that I'd set but now feel spiritually satisfied which is what I'd discovered was missing"

"I went to church as a child. People came to pray for me and tell me that God loved me. I began to tune into His voice. He transformed my life and gives me strength to get through difficult times. My greatest joy is to share His love with others."

"I always went to church. I eventually realised I couldn't be a grandchild of God- I was as 'bad' as everyone else. I asked God to change me. Now I'm still as 'bad' as everyone else, but I'm loved and forgiven, trying to follow Jesus and sharing him with others."

"Was an angry teenager.
Joined a Methodist Youth Club.  Met people who cared.
Discovered God and calmed down, then drifted away.
Became ill, scared of dying, prayed to God.  God answered.  After a while I drifted again.  Unhappy time.
Met my wife, discovered Jesus, journey continues, God in charge now.
"
