Our web site collects information when you visit the site and this document explains what information might be gathered and stored. 

What is collected and stored: We only collect data volunteered by users who interact with us by email. Certain data is created automatically when you interact with the site. 

What is done with the information: We only use personal information you provide voluntarily to send information and services you have requested eg. if you send us an email.

Email content: The content of email messages that pass through our systems are stored and may be monitored. This helps us to combat spam. 

Security: We do not hold personal data on any part of this website. We never profile normal visitors to the site or invasively monitor them.

Server Logs: We may analyse use of the site by tracking information such as page views, traffic flow, search terms, and click through. We use this information to improve the site. We reserve the right to make this anonymous traffic and demographic information available in aggregate form but do not share any information which can identify any individual user.

Opting Out: No registration is required to use this site as a source of information. Administrators must register to maintain church entries. If you no longer require your account please contact us to remove it.

The Methodist Church is committed to safeguarding as an integral part of its life and ministry. Safeguarding is about the action the Church takes to promote a safer culture. This means we will:

  • we are fully compliant with the policies of the Methodist Church and all members and staff working with children and vulnerable adults are DBS checked.
